Beirut International Franchise Forum and Exhibition

The Lebanese Franchise Association in cooperation with the General Union of Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of the Arab World, organized the Beirut International Franchise Forum and Exhibition on May 27th – 28th, 2010.

The forum called to explore the current situation of trade franchise of the concession business, and ways to evaluate and develop it. Additionally, the conferees discussed the available opportunities for joint action between the Arab businessmen who have commercial privileges, and their international counterparts.

During the conference, several issues were highlighted in a lecture entitled "Franchise .. A new vision of excellence in investment opportunities for small and medium enterprises". The conference also discussed issues such as developing industry and trade concessions in international markets and the main challenges it faces. The conference also discussed the financing of activities of the franchise, the franchise industry in the Middle East, and intellectual property rights.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Attar, President of the International Chamber of Commerce -Syria (ICC-Syria), chaired the Syrian delegation participating in the conference.
