250 union and industry leaders in the European Union and South Mediterranean countries participated in the first Euro-Mediterranean Industry Forum tilted 'Coalition and Investment Programme' on April 21st-22nd in Cairo, Egypt.
During the forum, the investment map of the Southern Mediterranean was reviewed. Additionally, the MedAlliance projects, in cooperation with the European Union to support trade, industry, and investment in the Euro-Mediterranean region, were also reviewed. MedAlliance includes EuroChambres, ASCAME, ANIMA and BUSINESSMED. The Euro-Mediterranean integration strategy was developed as well.
The Syrian participation was represented by the attendance of Dr. Abdul Rahman Attar, President of the International Chamber of Commerce - Syria (ICC-Syria), and Mirna Nayfeh, Executive Director of the Chamber.
